In this bread I find his Body broken, fully given, sign of Mystery, freely given: Word made flesh, now made bread. What immeasurable Love! “This is My Body.” At this last supper with his friends, He takes the bread, and breaks it, saying: “This is My Body, given for you.” Word made flesh, now made bread. What immeasurable Love! At then the cup he takes and blesses, Love’s self-giving, saying: “This is My Blood, poured out for you.” Word made flesh, now made drink. What immeasurable Love! The whole Paschal Mystery here is hidden, as a gift for all the ages. Love over hatred, Life over death. Communion enduring eternal. In this single gift given that we may live in Him: What immeasurable Love!

about

The first of a series of albums on the Holy Triduum, the final days of Christ's earthly life and the dawning glory of his Resurrection. They are a prolonged reflection, in sound, of the echoes of eternity that we hear reverberating from these awesome events, from this single, richly layered event of the Paschal Mystery, which has made the whole world new and which shall continue to sound, touching, healing, and renewing, until the universe is admitted into the innermost life of God at the end of time.

about

Joshua Elzner and Catherine Guilbeau Texas

We believe that beauty, all beauty, is a sign and a sacrament of the One who himself is Beauty. Every created thing, every glimmer of glory, every echo of harmony, is a word from the God who fashioned all things out of his immeasurable love. And in all created words, silent, spoken, visible, musical, the one Word is made known: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us." ... more
